   A brief outline of the trip, 
  4 Days of euro fun. Friday start and a great road trip across Europe. Sat/Sun. Your turn to drive the hallowed tarmac of 'The Green Hell' Monday we return home via The beautiful Eifle region, Stunning Porsche driving roads with stunning scenery.

   So the Trip. A brief outline.
  Porscheball is a group of Porsche owners from all around the UK, who each year take a European road trip to The Nurburgring, to have the time of their live's, Watching some of the most exciting racing and driving the world's longest and most challenging race track, it’s really as simple as that.

   The Nurburgring.
   The Nurburgring is 13.2 miles long. It has approx, (and this bit depends who you are talking to) 170 odd corners. Some say it’s as little as 70 odd corners, some say it’s a lot more, it really depends on what you call a corner. If the track changing direction is a corner its 170 odd, if you go by the corners with names it 70 odd. Whichever way you look at it, it’s bloody big!
  On Porscheball we drive on public days called Touristenfahrten, which basically means the track is open to the public. You pay per lap
 (22 euro’s in 2010) and the track is classed as a public toll road. German Road law applies during Touristenfahrten, so your car must be road legal.
There are rules to follow, and we go into these in depth at our safety meeting on your first morning in Germany. Yes the nurburgring is a dangerous place, I will not deny that. But a lot of myths have grown up about the place, which simply are not true.
 We are proud of the fact that every single person that has travelled with us has come home safe and sound and really enjoyed the trip.
